The Australian Government has increased its commitment to the early detection of bowel cancer by expanding the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (NBCSP). Between 2015 and 2020, the program will move from five-yearly to biennial screening intervals.

The NBCSP campaign supports the program expansion with activities designed to inform Australians about the changes and encourage participation in the program. The campaign was launched in 2015.
